What is the importance of learning types of paragraphs?
Have you ever asked yourself why it is important to learn paragraph types and how does this benefit our writing skills?. The paragraphs are called as a type of set of sentences that help us form a forceful idea to develop our mind and express ourselves better. Well, Today I will talk to you about two types of paragraphs and how they benefit us; these types are called "narrative paragraphs" and of course the "argumentative paragraphs". If you were never taught about this, in this blog you can learn and be more informed. Without more to say, let's get started.
Initially let's talk about the narrative paragraph. A narrative paragraph always tells a situation chronologically, that is, as the events of some situation in which the characters of that text are found, complete ideas or a series of them are usually expressed within the text. A narrative paragraph is made up of three parts; beginning, here as the name says, a sentence is put that can represent what the initial situation is; that is, what is happening, to whom is it happening, etc. Second, the development, this is where the story takes place, the conflict, whether good or bad, has to go in this part of the paragraph to have a good structure of it, and finally the conclusion, in this final part of the paragraph there should be a small lesson or learning that you had about the story, you should include your reflection on the story. What are the benefits of learning to use this type of paragraph?. Some of the benefits that it offers us are: it helps us to reflect on things that are experienced day by day, it helps us to correctly write an anecdote or a fantasy story and it helps us to know more about the structures in order not to have flaws in English grammar.
Now we will deal with the second type of paragraph; argumentative paragraph, this type of paragraph is usually used to be able to present or debate a topic before other people, we use it to convince other people about what we are talking about, of course, to do it we need to inform ourselves about the subject, since the argumentative paragraph has to have its respective valid arguments. It is also used to be able to analyze an idea carefully and determine a valid and forceful conclusion that serves both us and the people who read the text, but what are its benefits in our writing?, for example, some of the benefits that learning about this paragraph offers us are: being able to analyze different situations and arguments in a better way at the time of writing, helps us to know how to convince the reader about a topic that we want to address, it helps us to expose correctly an idea or several ideas, finally helps us to draw correct conclusions about what we discuss or read in a text.
